ABSTRACT

This research paper explores the potential of Cambodia’s emerging technology sector as an investment opportunity. Cambodia, a country that has undergone significant economic progress in recent years, aims to transform itself into a technology hub in Southeast Asia. The technology sector in Cambodia is rapidly growing, with a focus on e-commerce, mobile applications, and increasing investment in startups. However, challenges such as the need for a skilled workforce and infrastructure development remain. This paper aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Cambodia’s technology sector, including an overview of key players, trends, challenges, and investment opportunities. It examines the government’s policies and incentives for attracting foreign investment, as well as the legal and regulatory environment, and provides case studies of successful startups and investors. The research concludes with recommendations for investors, including identifying promising sub-sectors, potential partners, and strategies for navigating the challenges of doing business in Cambodia.
