The Learning Support Center (LSC) is a crucial support service department within the school. It provides assistance to both faculty members and students and collaborates closely with other support services. The LSC’s primary function is to ensure high-quality support that enhances the teaching and learning experience for all, fostering a harmonious and effective educational environment.
The LSC provides essential support services, including:
- Class scheduling
- Alignment review of course specifications and materials
- Classroom and equipment preparation
- Invigilation of exams and tests
- Marking student work
- Grade management and maintenance within the academic system
- Upholding academic integrity through adherence to the CamEd Student Honor Code.
To further enhance teaching quality, the LSC conducts faculty evaluations twice per academic term, providing feedback to both management and faculty.
The LSC recognizes the importance of minimizing faculty administrative burdens. By streamlining administrative tasks, the LSC empowers faculty to focus on their core responsibilities: teaching and research. This approach fosters a dynamic environment where research findings directly inform and enhance teaching quality, ultimately ensuring students receive a high-quality education that aligns with CamEd’s vision, mission, and educational philosophy.
At the start of each academic year, the LSC conducts an orientation session for first-year students. This session covers key aspects of the Bachelor of Accounting and Finance program, including the curriculum, as well as the CamEd Student Honor Code and the overall learning system.
