Admissions Department Working Hours

1. I want to ask for detailed information about the study program. May I know your hours of operation?

  • Students can come and consult with the admissions department from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day except on National and International holidays. However, if students want to come for an entrance exam, students should arrive at CamEd from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Bachelor of Accounting and Finance + CAT Program (BA + CAT)

1. When is the application deadline for the BA+CAT program?

  • We accept students no later than January 2025.

2. How to be accepted to study in the BA+CAT program at CamEd Business School?

  • Hold a high school certificate or any equivalent of a Cambodian high school diploma
  • To apply: Online Application
  • Pass an entrance exam: English, Mathematics, and Interview

Note: The exam is free of charge.

3. If I have a valid IELTS or a TOEFL certificate, do I need to take the entrance exam if I want to study for the BA+CAT program?

  • If you have a valid IELTS certificate, you will be expected to take an English test so you will only take a Mathematics and interview.

4. What is the scoring rate of IELTS and TOEFL?

  • IBT TOEFL 40 or higher
  • PBT TOEFL 450 or higher
  • IELTS 5.0 or higher

5. My full name in English on the CamEd system and my official documents (such as ID card, Passport, or Birth certificate) are different. Can I request to update the full name the same as my official documents?

  • Yes, you can. You are required to send an email to Ms. Hok Leakhena, [email protected] to request an update by attaching all official documents to support your request. This request can be approved based on the evidence supported.

6. I want to have a CAT account. What are the requirements to register for the CAT account?

  • In order to register for the CAT account, you are required to choose ONE document among the ones mentioned below.
    • Passport or
    • ID Card (including translation to English) or
    • Birth Certificate (including translation to English)

Master of Science in Accounting and Finance + ACCA Program (MSc + ACCA)

1. When is the application deadline for the MSc + ACCA program?

  • We have two terms where we accept students to study in the MSc + ACCA program.
    • Term: January – June: the deadline is no later than January
    • Term: July – December: the deadline is no later than July

2. How to be accepted to study in the MSc + ACCA program at CamEd Business School?

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree, and an official transcript for a bachelor’s degree evidencing a GPA of at least 2.5. All documents should be submitted to CamEd Business School and subjected to further verification.
  • If the applicant has not studied the Pre-master courses / Fundamental Skill courses at the bachelor’s degree level, the applicant must undertake these courses before continuing the MSc program.

5. I am a new student in the MSc + ACCA program. I do not have an ACCA account. What are the requirements to register for the ACCA Account?

  • To register for the ACCA account, you are required to:
    • Make the payment for the ACCA account registration at the Finance Department
    • Upload the required document below through this link: Upload Documents
      • Choose one: Valid Passport or ID Card (with English Translation) or Birth Certificate (with English Translation)
      • Bachelor’s degree certificate (or Master’s degree certificate) + transcript (optional)

6. I am not sure if my current account is a CAT or ACCA account. Also, how can I know if it is still active or not?

  • You can write an email to Ms. Hok Leakhena, [email protected] to check the status of the account. Please provide the information such as Full name, CamEd ID, CAT/ACCA account number, email address used to register the account, and phone number.

7. I already passed the diploma certificate of Cambodian Business Law / Cambodian Tax. What are the requirements to get the exemption(s) on my ACCA account?

  • To process the exemptions of CBL / CTax, you are required to:
    • Have an active ACCA account
    • Make the payment for the exemption fee at the Finance Department
    • You are advised by our team to process this exemption request through email

8. I have a CAT account. Can I register for the international ACCA exam?

  • You cannot register and take the international ACCA exams once you hold the CAT account. You are required to transfer your CAT account to the ACCA account first.

9. I have an ACCA account but it is not active. I want to take the international ACCA exams. What should I do?

  • You are required to reactivate your ACCA account and make the payment for the account reactivated. The amount to be paid for the re-registration should include the outstanding balance on your account at the time of removal and the re-registration fee. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA Program)

1. When is the deadline for the ACCA program?

  • We have two terms where we accept students to study in the ACCA program.
    • Term: January – June: the deadline is no later than January
    • Term: July – December: the deadline is no later than July

2. How to apply for the ACCA program?

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree or any applicants who already hold a CAT certificate
  • To apply: Online Application
  • Pass an entrance exam: English and Math

3. If I have a valid IELTS or a TOEFL certificate, do I need to take the entrance exam if I want to study for the MSc + ACCA program?

  • The exemption is awarded by the ACCA based on the qualifications you hold.

6. I am a new student in the MSc + ACCA program. I do not have an ACCA account. What are the requirements to register for the ACCA Account?

2. How to apply for the CAT program?

  • Must be 16 years of age at the time of enrollment in the program.

Diploma Program

1. What are the diploma programs offered at CamEd?

2. When is the deadline for the diploma programs?

  • We have two terms where we accept students to study in the diploma programs.
    • Term: January – June: the deadline is no later than January
    • Term: July – December: the deadline is no later than July

3. How to apply for the diploma program?

Note: No entrance exam is required to apply for the diploma programs.

4. After applying for one of the diploma programs and paying the tuition fee or deposit, what is the next step?
