Overview

CULTURAL EXCHANGE DAY is an excited new addition to CSG’s annual calendar of activities, an event dedicated to embracing and celebrating multicultural exchange. Designed as a vibrant and inclusive experience, Cultural Exchange Day brings together students from diverse backgrounds to share their unique cultures through traditional attire, performances, food, art and interactive booths with all student clubs coming together to represent different countries around the world. Each club will show case the culture of their selected country through tradition clothing, cultural performance, authentic foods, interactive booths and creative display-transforming the campus into colorful, global village for a day.

The name UNISIA DAY because it represents more than just an event. It symbolizes a shared vision of bringing people together across cultures, background, and perspective. The name being with “UNI”, reflecting unity and our desire to create a space where everyone feels connected, respected and included. The additional of “SIA” gives the name a poetic and culture depth. Inspired by the way many countries or region are names like ASIA. “SIA” make UNISIA fell like the land of community.

Objectives

To foster cross-cultural understanding, appreciation, and inclusivity among local and international students.
To celebrate the richness of cultural diversity within our student body by providing a platform to showcase traditions, cuisines, art, language, and music.
To create meaningful connections and mutual respect through cultural exchange and dialogue.
To empower students to take pride in their heritage while gaining insights into the perspectives and practices of others.
