Mr. Chhay Cheaheng is the Deputy Director of Large Taxpayer Department of the General Department of Taxation.

Mr. Chhay Cheaheng started his work as a tax officer with the Department of Taxation in 2000. Throughout the period of 24 years, he has continuously contributed his knowledge and skills in the development and reform of tax administration to a tax system which is modernized and well recognized by the public and private sector.

Mr. Chhay Cheaheng is also one of the key persons who significantly provides inputs and comments in solving the tax issues and concerns which are raised by private sectors. Without thinking of his tiredness, he has continuously involved with both public and private sectors to ensure the tax compliance is high and the target of tax revenue collection is reached. Besides working, he has also devoted his spare time to be a leading taxation lecturer at National Tax School and University. He holds an MF and BL from Royal University of Law and Economics.
