Profile

A recognized expert with more than 10 years of successful experience teaching Academic and Business English.Ediri has a proven ability to identify and develop outstanding talents. He is currently an Associate professor with CamEd Business School.

Having earned his Masters in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, UK, Ediri went on to work as an English language teacher in Taiwan, Singapore and in Cambodia, quickly earning a reputation for enhancing English language acquisition in the EFL setting and preparing young adults for various English language proficiency tests. Ediri is also a Harvard scholar (Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Extension Studies, field: Management). He has then moved into teaching Business Communication, steadily making the transition from teaching English language to teaching English for Business and Accounting (EAB).

Ediri is most fulfilled when helping students to maximize their potential, and having championed numerous personal development initiatives at CamEd Business School, in 2018, he mentored a CamEd student team (Cambodian debating and public speaking champions) to an Asian Pacific JCI debating championship in Japan. To date, he has successfully trained and mentored so many students through advancing public speaking and debating skills in the school’s Debating and Public Speaking Club.

Leveraging his professional network, as a former US Embassy Phnom Penh Post Language Coordinator/Instructor prior to joining CamEd, Ediri has served in several working committees. He is a member of the CamEd Research Committee and a Faculty Council member currently. Ediri has authored and co-authored numerous research papers, including his latest (General Trends: Future of Work in Cambodia Post Pandemic). Ediri lives in Phnom Penh with his wife, a son and a dog.
