Ms. Sarah Ellis holds a First Class BA in TESOL and Modern Languages and a Trinity CertTESOL certificate through The University of Central Lancashire where she received the School Dissertation Prize. Her degree in TESOL has provided her the skills and pedagogical knowledge to teach effectively through a variety of techniques, especially the communicative approach to teaching and learning. 

Before becoming a teacher, she worked in Sales and Marketing and Business Development for a major insurance administration company in the UK, and her duties included providing analysis reports on how to improve business processes. 

Sarah has more than a decade of teaching experience, including General English, EAP, IELTS and Cambridge FCE and CAE. She worked at schools in the UK, Spain and Portugal before moving to Cambodia in 2017 where she was an English teacher at the Australian Centre for Education for over seven years.  As well as teaching, she has a passion for animal welfare and works with many groups and vets in Phnom Penh to rescue sick and injured animals and reduce the stray cat population.
