Profile

Dr. Virak Prum is a respected figure in the legal and business community and brings with him two decades of combined international academic studies and work experiences in the fields oflaw, business and international development. He has held various top academic positions and has advised a law firm, foreign governments, international organizations and a big corporation. He once led the legal department of possibly the largest corporation in the private sector in Cambodia at the time. Besides two law degrees and a PhD, he also holds a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Canada. As Chairman of the Board, he has obtained a Certificate and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors based in the UK. A frequent panelist and moderator at conferences, Dr. Virak speaks at easy on most legal subjects, leadership, corporate strategy and development economics. He speaks English, French and Khmer professionally, and can carry on conversation in Japanese.

Areas of interest: company law, employment law, corporate finance, global trade, leadership, corporate strategy, and development economics.
