His Excellency Senior Minister Dr. Sok Siphana

While agriculture will continue to feed us and make us rich, we must also capitalize on the service industry. The message was very well received, given the fact that CamEd Business School is the leading educational institution in Cambodia. His Excellency Senior Minister Dr. Sok Siphana explained the otherwise hard issues in plain terms. Students and participating faculty took the opportunity to grasp trade policies as they are applied in the real world. Our Chairman Dr. Virak Prum also reminded us that economic development history as exemplified by Singapore tells of a 3-stage story spanning from manufacturing to services to technology/knowledge based economy; and asked where Cambodia is at presently. The discussion and questions from our students and faculty focused on how micro and SMEs can benefit from trade policies and the type of risks they would have to entertain. As the leading business school in the country, we ensure that our programs reflect the reality on the ground in order to keep creating value for our graduates.
