CamEd Audit Club

CamEd Audit Club (CAC) has existed since 2017, under the authorization of CamEd Business School. CAC is first established by a group of CamEd students to provide CamEd students as well as other professionals bodies and passionate learners in the financial and non-financial industry knowledge about the auditing industry to the public, especially to offer practical knowledge about the finance-related fields.

VISION

CamEd Audit Club aims at raising awareness about auditing by providing informational knowledge and resources for learners to be well prepared in the auditing industry, and we aim at becoming a leading reliable channel of the supply chain connecting students club to international and local audit firms for preparing future professional auditors.

MISSION

Discover the diverse available career opportunities, to provide relevant and reliable information, knowledge, and resources about auditing works and its practice through meeting with well-experienced professionals from different companies and a variety of other events with the World Big Four auditing firms and other auditing associations. Particularly, CAC allows all individuals to discover their enthusiastic passion for this audit pathway.

MEMBERSHIP

This club aims at becoming a reliable channel connecting students to local and international auditing firms for future professional auditors.

Anyone can become a member of the CamEd Audit Club as long as CamEd CAT students, bachelor degree students, ACCA students, faculty, and staff, in good standing with the CamEd and who meet and fill requirements set by the Club.

EVENTS

Throughout the year, the Club hosts many session sharing by inviting speakers coming from different auditing firms to share information base and give good guidelines for prospective auditors to be ready and prepare for this position in their future careers. Members also visit some related auditing firms and other business companies and attend conventions, voluntary works, seminars, workshops, conferences, expositions, and other relative events to the club.

CAC Charity – Care for All Children

On July 28, 2024, CamEd Audit Club organized a charity trip called Care for All Children. It is a day of charity that we are going to donate to one of the NGOs called Branch Center which is under the management of UNACAS located in Phum Lech Wat, Kombol, Phnom Penh. There are 178 students in total, girls 85 students.

Audit 360 Degree

On May 05, 2024, CamEd Audit Club established the “Audit 360 degree” event to share knowledge related to the field of auditing. We would like to thank all our partners, sponsors and our audiences for their contribution to our “Audit 360 degree” event. This event will not be able to run smoothly and successfully without the support of all of you. We wish all partners, sponsors and audiences more prestige, prosperity and more success in the future.

Understanding People’s Thinking Preferences

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, the CamEd Audit Club collaborated with IYBW and held a sharing session on the topic “Understanding People’s Thinking Preferences.” This event aimed to disseminate knowledge regarding how to work with others, communicate more effectively, and comprehend the different ways that people think and process information. This sharing session was delivered by our honorable guest speaker Mr. Venkatesh Kedlaya, an inspirational motivational speaker who has extensive experience with this topic. Mr. Venkatesh Kedlaya shared his expertise, knowledge, and incredibly helpful advice with the participants to help them improve their communication and teamwork abilities for usage in everyday situations such as school, work, and so on.

In the 2022-2023 fiscal year, CamEd Audit Club has received 3 recognitions as the most active club of the year, Second Most Popular Student Club, and Top 5 Most Outstanding Budget Management Club.
