CamEd Banking & Finance Club

We, CamEd Banking & Finance Club, aim to be a central platform for research, discussions, workshops, webinars, and events about the future of the banking and finance industry in Cambodia.

Club Vision

CamEd Banking & Finance Club aims to be a researcher center, providing information and analysis in the field of banking and finance industry in Cambodia. Meanwhile, the club also commits to creating a bridge for CamEd students to build a network with professional and organizations.

Club Mission

To provide a special opportunity for CamEd students and the public to get access to up-to-date banking and finance information and knowledge by creating workshops.
To publish research papers related to finance and backing so as to provide more through information related to the field and to allow CamEd students hands-on experience in writing professional research paper.
To create a club environment where students feel safe to share their opinions and feel supported with their self-development, both technical and soft skills.

ACTIVITIES

The club activities include events, webinars, forums, and field trips. Recently, we have delivered so many webinars to our CamEd students on various topics.

Events

CBFIs Charity 2023 “Another way of Hope”

On September 16th, 2023, CamEd Banking and Finance Club are pleased to organize the charity event “Another way of Hope” by bringing solar lights and food supplies to the people of Kvav village, Champey Commune, Angkor Chey District, Kampot Province. On behalf of our student club, we hope that all these materials will facilitate the lives of the villagers and especially provide a new light of hope to the whole village. Finally, we would like to thank our event sponsors, generous donors, and the organizing team for their contribution to the success of this event.

Financial Inclusion: A Research Paradigm

On September 2nd, 2023, CamEd Banking And Finance Club and Good Return held a successful event on the topic of “Financial Inclusion: A Research Paradigm.” The event shed light on the importance of financial inclusion, the barriers to financial inclusion in Cambodia, and the latest research on financial inclusion. We extend our sincere gratitude to our honorable speakers, Ms. Pichpisey Sovann, Ms. Arunremfa Lim, Ms. Veronica Lewis, and Mr. Sambathrorth Kong, for sharing their expertise on the latest research in financial inclusion, which helped us to better understand the importance of this issue and the challenges that remain. CBFIs Induction Day

CamEd Banking and Finance Club conducted our third Batch’s Induction on the 16th July, 2023. A heartfelt thank you for joining us on Induction Day and officially becoming part of our CBFIs club in third mandate. Your presence has truly enriched our community, and we cannot wait to create good memories with this mandate!
