CamEd International Business Club

CamEd International Business Club (CIBC) is a student‑led organization supported by CamEd Business School. It was founded in 2014 by Mrs. Ny Morokot, who currently serves as the Co-Founder of GooEdu. The club’s structure consists of a Management Team and departmental members, and is further guided by the Board of Advisors and the Founder. There will be an annual member recruitment once in a fiscal year.

Our Vision

To keep members engaged and informed about formal organizations, international companies, business models, and entrepreneurial leadership. We are dedicated to offering students challenges, fostering team spirit, and creating valuable opportunities.

Our Mission

To equip Cam-Ed students and aspiring entrepreneurs with information and resources about international companies operating in Cambodia. To achieve this mission, the club will carry out activities such as:

  • Organizing field trips to various international and local companies.
  • Hosting discussions and forums on business concepts and real‑world experiences.
  • Conducting research and sharing insights on international and local businesses established in Cambodia.

ANNUAL ACTIVITIES

 

  • Field studies: To conduct visits to international and local companies to gain insights into their operations and strategic approaches, offering members valuable learning and networking opportunities with industry experts.
  • Forums: To provide members with the chance to lead and collaborate in teams while organizing the entire forum, helping them develop essential soft skills such as leadership, team management, communication, and resilience.  
  • Sharing sessions: To provide exclusive sharing sessions hosted by CIBC alumni or other industry experts, offering insights, practical tips, and experiences related to specific industries, career development, or personal growth.
  • Charity trip: To provide a bonding trip where members can give back to the community while also enjoying meaningful time together with their peers.

EVENTS

Sharing Session – Learning Beyond Academic

CamEd International Business club hosted a Business Sharing Session under the topic “Learning Beyond Academic” on July 27th, 2025, at Benjamin Graham, CamEd Business School. The session featured Mr. Sim Khyleng, analyst at Royal Group Securities, who researches stocks and bonds, writes market reports, makes financial plans and consults with clients to invest wisely.

Field Study – Yeo’s Cambodia

The 1st Field Study of the 12th generation of CamEd International Business Club held on August 5th 2025, visiting Yeo’s Cambodia’s factory, located at National Road 4, Phum Tachet, Khan Kamboul, Phnom Penh. It was a memorable experience for all of us with the participation of 45 members including the club’s advisors, management teams, senior and junior members. This visit allowed us to learn about the production process and hearing behind the scenes from experienced staff of how a well-known brand stays successful through quality, innovation, and teamwork.

Mini Forum 2025- The Inner Metrics

The Mini Forum 2025 was organized by the CamEd International Business Club under the theme “The Inner Metrics” on 28th October 2025. The event served as a platform for students and young professionals to exchange real-world experiences, discover hidden values behind success, and reflect on the importance of passion, resilience, and responsibility in shaping their future paths. The event was a success under the presence of 2 honorable guest speakers: Ms. Sey Chanboromey and Ms. In Navin.

Field Study – Ngov Heng Pepper Plantation

On November 8th, 2025, 39 members and 3 advisors from the 12th generation of the CamEd International Business Club (CIBC) joined the second field study at Ngov Heng Kampot Pepper Plantation in Kep Province, about 140 km from Phnom Penh. The visit included a presentation and farm tour led by Mr. Chan Sitha and his wife, who shared insights on organic pepper production and quality management. The trip was smoothly organized under the leadership of Ms. Sou Sienleng and coordination of Ms. Hort Dalen, providing students with a valuable learning experience.

Business Forum 2025 – The Local Ventures

The Business Forum 2025 is the largest annual event organized by the CamEd International Business Club. The forum was designed to share fresh insights and knowledge across various business industries, which participants could apply to their specific interests. This year, we featured three experienced guest speakers including Ms. Pich Pisey, Mr. Sun Sophea, and Mr. Dyna Seihaream from different business sectors who shared their expertise and experiences with our club members and attendees. The theme for the year was “The Local Ventures,” focusing on the creation of and challenges faced by Cambodian brands.

Discovery Project 

The Discovery Project is an annual bonding project organized by the CamEd International Business Club (CIBC) to strengthen relationships among club members. This project celebrates the dedication and effort put in by our management team and members throughout the year on various club activities. It offers an opportunity for our club to explore different experiences in the countryside. The Discovery Project 2025 took place over two days and one night on January 10 and 11, 2026, in Kampot Province

POLICIES

Procedures:

  • Officers and members are expected to follow the written expectations below
  • Individual members have the opportunity to recommend or suggest changes to the policy, which will be decided by the group’s judgment 3. Motions will be accepted and voted on at the official meeting
  • Detailed procedures will be developed as the need arises. 

Expectations: 

  1. All individuals should be punctual. 
  2. All individuals should be responsible for their duties and actions 
  3. All individuals should keep their commitment and effort well-managed 
  4. Boards and members should serve the group’s interest as a whole and maintain open communication 
  5. All ideas are welcome and should be shared 
  6. There will be at least 2 meetings per month and all the members should participate in these meetings.
