Our Vision

Keeping members excited and knowledgeable on formal organization, international company, model of business, and entrepreneurial leadership. We are committed to providing students a challenge, team spirit, and opportunity.

Our Mission

To provide Cam-Ed students as well as Cambodian business students and those inexperienced entrepreneurs with information and resources about international companies that are operating in Cambodia. To achieve this goal, our club will undertake such activities as:

  • Field trips to various international companies.
  • Discussions and forums on global business ideas and experiences
  • Researching and sharing knowledge about international business companies here in Cambodia

Some call us student club but we are actually one big family #CIBCthe6thGeneration

ANNUAL ACTIVITIES

Field Trip

To visit international business companies and to meet entrepreneurs/CEOs to learn about their career options and business strategies, and for the club members to write reports to reflect on the knowledge they gained from the experience.

After visiting a company, we will write a report which is combined from individual reports published for Cam-Ed students and the public through the club’s sponsor such as Cam-Ed and Seek Ideal.

Business Competition Idea

To give a chance widely to all CamEders and our club members to challenge their business ideas, learn and share from one another, and cooperate with other business clubs.

Charity Trip

To distribute study materials to students who are in need and provide support to their education journey, while bonding team in the whole club.

EVENTS

Discover Project

The “Discover Project” was held for two days and one night in Koh Kong province. Within this duration, we have conducted our donation at សាលាមត្តេយ្យសហគមន៍ located in ជីផាត district, Koh Kong province. The 100 riel project enabled us to proceed with our “Discover Project” successfully after working with the exploration of both projects. All of these experiences cannot happen without the kindness of every donors of the 100 riel project. We, CamEd International Business Club would like to show our gratitude to all donors for supporting our projects in any form for making this occasion pleasant and memorable.

Business Forum 2023: The Evolving Enterprise

CamEd International Business Club meticulously planned and coordinated the event, with Ms. Te Chanmaly serving as the project chair. Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) served as the venue for this year’s Business Forum, which took place on November 19th, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM. To share their experiences, we welcomed three kind speakers: Mr. Te Tekheng, CEO of Burn X Flash, Mr. Chheng Sopheak, Founder of Rean Thort, and Mr. Nguon Sokpisal, Start-Up Incubator of GGEAR Group and CEO of Phum Digital.

Achievements

CamEd International Business Club Award 2022-2023

In the 2022-2023 fiscal year, CamEd International Business Club has received 5 recognitions as Most Outstanding Budget Management, Top 5 Most Distinguished Social Media Engagement Student Club, Most Decorated Student club of the 2022 – 2023 Fiscal Year, Third Most Active Student Club and Third Most Popular Student Club.

We, CIBC, appreciate and are grateful to CamEd Business School and everyone for always supporting us. We hope to consistently live up to your expectations and give our members a better life experience.

POLICIES

Procedures:

  • Officers and members are expected to follow the written expectations below
  • Individual members have the opportunity to recommend or suggest changes to the policy, which will be decided by the group’s judgment 3. Motions will be accepted and voted on at the official meeting
  • Detailed procedures will be developed as the need arises. 

Expectations: 

  1. All individuals should be punctual. 
  2. All individuals should be responsible for their duties and actions 
  3. All individuals should keep their commitment and effort well-managed 
  4. Boards and members should serve the group’s interest as a whole and maintain open communication 
  5. All ideas are welcome and should be shared 
  6. There will be at least 2 meetings per month and all the members should participate in these meetings.
